30 YEARS VW INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
JD Camper Designs is a family run business based in Cheshire, with over 30 years industry experience in converting/building VW campervans for the public and trade. Based near the world famous Anderton boat lift our new and improved workshop is very easy to access, and close to our sister company CMC Cheshire Motor Caravans. We feel supplying campervan kitchen units through JD Camper Designs fits todays modern market for self build/trade build and camper customers.
KEEP IT IN THE FAMILY
As a child i remember frequenting many VW shows in my dads VW split screen 21 window samba, which we lovingly restored at his bodyshop when i was 13 years old, this immediately sparked a massive interest in VW for me. We bought the samba and a panel van for just £350 so you can imagine how long ago this was, we set out to replicate the original Devon kitchen interior for the samba, this was the start of my career in interior production, and the start of a life long passion for VW campervans.
The JD in our name is my sons initials Jack Devine, who shows a keen interest and attends shows with me in our 1964 VW split screen, he often wants to help me and his uncle at work and barks orders at us all, so it seemed only fitting to name our business after him.

Our in house design team deliver quality campervan kitchen units using only the best materials, all built to a high standard and all this whilst delivering them at affordable prices. All kitchen units are made from lightweight vohringer laminated plywood NOT cheap and nasty MDF or MFC, and come ready assembled to go straight into your vehicle.

We specialise in VW Transporters but we have a range of existing units for all makes and models of vehicles, if we don’t have what you are looking for we can tailor a design to your requirements for a one off unique design for your vehicle. All of our kitchen units are manufactured using CNC Computer Numerical Control technology to ensure perfect cuts and measurements throughout all aspects of your kitchen units. The team is highly skilled and equipped to handle any of your questions and requests.
